The Mod movement is an important part of the Swinging London lifestyle and synonym of the free spirit of the stylish British young generation in the 60’s. Like any major subculture, Europe but also America will know a wave of Mod Influence until the early 80’s.
Just for the pleasure, I added a beautiful editorial published in Self Service Fall Winter Issue to close this saga, enjoy!

Once upon a time, a cute British teenage girl named Lesley Hornby get a pixie hair cut at a famous salon in London looking for models to feature some new hair styles, when she’s discovered by a Fashion journalist who will declare her “Face of 66′” in the Daily Express. That was the beginning of the Supermodels era, Lesley will become Twiggy and influence millions of women all over the world, the fashion industry and pop culture for decades until today. Here are some of Twiggy’s best shots as well recent fashion editorials inspired by the Fashion icon.
Jessica Pare is the new lady of the hit AMC TV Show, Mad Men. Jessica plays Megan the joyful and sometimes vulnerable new wife of main character, Don Draper. Jessica is Canadian and have appeared in a few movies and series but it’s her role in Mad Men that will reveal her to the public. When I saw these pictures published on Elle.com (complete feature here), I’ve realized how multi faceted Jessica can be. Here she looks sharp, modern, strong far away from the “girly” attitude of her character. I guess the only distinctive sign among Jessica’s plural faces is her sexy bombshell aura

Spotted, super models eating ravenously and enjoying it! Like we say in French, La gourmandise est un vilain defaut (Greed is an ugly default), but difficult to resist! Who said fashion and food don’t match together? Bon Appetit
