My life in black

Lately I’ve been trying to avoid buying too much black and overall the black total look, but I’m just loving a couple of black outfits that I find so inspiring. The monochrome colour can be reinterpreted in so many ways without being too conventional, sad or austere. For example we had some great fashion moments on the red carpet this season: Margot Robbie (100% approve the red lipstick paired with the black gown) at the Oscars, Emma Stone who impressed both at the Golden Globes and Sag Awards, or Nicole Kidman and her body con Thierry Mugler dress at the Grammys. One who has understand how to play with it and prones the minimal chic style is Sara Donaldson (from Harper and Harley blog). I’m seeing as well a lot of black on the catwalk for the Fall Winter 2015 collections, without a doubt it’s a sign, black is (again) beautiful.
